BANKRUPTCY EDUCATIONAL VIDEOS 

I enjoy searching the internet for great bankruptcy educational websites and videos that help explain the

Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy process. Great Youtube videos from bankruptcy attorneys can help

explain the bankruptcy process in an easy to view medium. I have searched Youtube videos and I have found a few videos

to include my own that help explain the bankruptcy process. I hope to add more bankruptcy videos in the near future. If you have any ideas,

please let us know what you would like to see.

1. Chapter 7 Process. Good video from a bankruptcy attorney talking about the Chapter 7 process. He talks a little fast but good overall video. In South Carolina we do a Zoom creditors’ hearing.
2. Chapter 7 Pros and Cons. Good video about the Pros and Cons of filing Chapter 7 bankruptcy.
3. Chapter 13 Bankruptcy Process. This is a good video that describes the overall process. In South Carolina the Chapter 13 process is a little different and we can discuss this.
4. Chapter 13 Pros and Cons. Good video from an experience Atlanta Chapter 13 bankruptcy attorney.
5. Credit card debts. This video deals with Chapter 7 bankruptcy and credit card debts. Video goes into detail about what happens to the credit card debts after filing bankruptcy.  One interesting fact disclosed is that many or most debtors obtain credit offers after their bankruptcy discharge in a Chapter 7. Video also warns about credit card usage leading up to filing the Chapter 7.
6. Medical Debt Video. Video looks at the question on if you can wipe out or “discharge” medical bills in Chapter 7. Video also explains that medical bills are unsecured debts that can be filed in bankruptcy. Video explains medical bills are almost always discharged in a bankruptcy. Video also looks at other options in dealing with medical debts other than bankruptcy/
7. IRS tax debts. This video goes into detail about how different IRS tax debts are treated in bankruptcy. Video looks at how different IRS debts are treated in a Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 bankruptcy. Video explains that nonpriority IRS debts are non dischargeable in bankruptcy. The video generally there is a three prong analysis that is used to determine if the debt is dischargeable. Finally video explains a potential bankruptcy filer can do a pretax analysis before filing the Chapter 7 bankruptcy.
8. Post Chapter 7. Things to do post Chapter 7 bankruptcy such as rebuilding your credit score.
9. Life After Bankruptcy. Good Dave Ramsey video about tips for people after bankruptcy.
