About Daniel Stone

DANIEL STONE is an attorney at Stone Law, LLC where he primarily handles consumer bankruptcy cases for individuals in Columbia, Florence, and Greenville. He earned his B.A. degree from the University of South Carolina, his J.D. degree from Washburn Law School in Topeka, Kansas, and a Certificate of Japanese Comparative Law from Temple Law School, Tokyo Campus. Mr. Stone is a member of the South Carolina Bankruptcy Law Association, was appointed to the Bankruptcy Interest Rate Committee and is active with the Bankruptcy Court’s Care Program that teaches students credit education. He has been an elected committee member of the South Carolina Bankruptcy Law Association since 2007. (Columbia, SC and Greenville, SC locations). Michelle H. Love joined Stone Law Firm in 2012 as the Senior Paralegal. She works in both the Irmo and Florence offices. Prior to working in the practice of bankruptcy in 2008, Michelle worked in the areas of criminal law, civil litigation, appellate and professional responsibility. Her compassion and desire to help others has made her an asset to Stone Law Firm.
Michelle received her Bachelor of Science (Cum Laude) and Master’s Degree, both in Criminal Justice, from the University of South Carolina. Michelle is married to her husband, John for 22 years. In her spare time, she competes and serves as a Judge for the American Kennel Club, in the performance division.
Vaughan Richard Perry is an Associate at Stone Law Firm based out of the home Irmo office and the Greenville office. His practice focuses on bankruptcy, foreclosures, and civil litigation.
Prior to joining as an Associate, Vaughan clerked for Stone Law Firm and the South Carolina Attorney General in the Capital and Collateral Litigation Department. His time clerking with Stone Law Firm confirmed his interest in helping people that are facing financial difficulties. Vaughan says the thing he enjoys most about working at Stone Law Firm is every day he goes home feeling like he has helped someone.
Vaughan received his undergraduate degree at the University of South Carolina in Political Science with minors in both Journalism and Criminal Justice. He obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law and graduated Cum Laude. Vaughan received the CALI award for Advanced Evidence, International Business Transactions, and Individual Employment Law.
